Pet Pain Management

Pain can present in a lot of different ways and may be acute or chronic. Whether your pet is suffering from abdominal pain or a broken limb we are committed to making sure we are addressing both the cause and the discomfort. We are dedicated to getting your pet feeling back to their normal selves.

As your pet gets older we always want to make sure we are preserving quality of life and a large part of this is making sure your pet is comfortable and can do the things they love. Many people can sympathize with the pain of arthritis and many of our older pets struggle with this and other issues like back pain. However, pets often present pain symptoms differently than humans do. We can help you recognize signs of pain in your pet and offer options best suited to you and your pet’s needs. We focus on safe and effective pain management options.

We are also attentive to the needs of our surgical patients and use combinations of anesthetic drugs, local anesthetics and medications to go home to make sure our patients are comfortable during the entire process.

Recognizing and alleviating pain is at the heart of the quality and compassionate care that we strive to offer.
